I launched the Eagle at 7:15 and once up about 500 feet, it just hung in the upper breeze. I just pointed the nose into the direction of the breeze and it just sat there, almost dead still.. I wonder what the people driving by thought as a tree line seperated me from the road so all they could see was the Eagle. Once the sun started to rise a bit higher, the wings and tail caught the reflection and just glowed Gosh darn it was total bliss and I felt very comfortable as where I was standing, there was no breeze blowing. 8)
DG finally show up about 7:45 and shot some video and 5 minutes later I brought her in for a nice landing. I am looking forward to viewing it when he gets it transferred, and maybe get it posted here. And, I plan on going down there again for lunch break!
